This integration ensures that, when visiting a page of our web presence which contains these plug-ins, no connection with the servers of Facebook, Google and Twitter shall be established. Only when you activate the plug-ins and thus voluntarily give your consent for data sharing, your browser creates a direct connection with the servers of Google, Facebook or Twitter. The content of the plug-in is transmitted from the appropriate Supplier directly to your browser and is included by it into the website. By using the plug-in the Suppliers receive the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding website within our web presence, even if you do not own a Facebook account or are currently not logged in. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a server of the respective Supplier in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged on to one of the social networks, the Suppliers can directly link your visit on our website to your profile on Facebook or Google+. If you interact with the plug-in e.g. by clicking the “Like”, “+1” or the “tweet” button, this information is also transmitted directly to a server of the Suppliers and stored there. The information is additionally displayed publicly on the social network or on your Twitter account and shown to your contacts.

For the purpose and extent of the data and its processing and use by the Suppliers as well as your rights and settings regarding the protection of your privacy, please refer to the Suppliers’ privacy protection policies.

If you do not wish Google, Facebook or Twitter to be able to attribute your visit to our sites to your profile on the respective service, you must log out from the respective service before activating the plug-ins.

8. YouTube, Google Maps, Google Drive

It may happen that within this online offer the content of third parties, for example videos from YouTube, map material from Google Maps, presentations and table from Google Drive, shall be included. Without knowledge of the IP address these contents cannot be sent to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is thus necessary for presenting these contents. We make an effort to only use contents whose respective Suppliers only use the IP address for delivering the contents. However, we have no influence over whether the third party Supplier saves the IP address for statistical purposes, for example. Insofar as we are aware of this, we shall inform our users of it.”
